Aloha, I am Sara Melching

Back in 2013, I left my hometown in Brazil to study abroad, caught the travel bug, and ended up on Maui. I literally couldn’t bear to leave, so I came back with just two suitcases and a one-way ticket. More than a decade later, I’ve got an amazing husband, two wild Maui-grown kids, and a deep love for this island.

I picked up my first camera in 2019 (thanks to an awesome Christmas gift from my husband) and immediately found my calling. I know exactly how precious—and fleeting—this family life is. My favorite thing is meeting incredible moms and families, making your session a total blast, and giving you memories that last forever.

If I’m not shooting, I’m in full mom-mode: snuggling my littles, having beach days with friends, paddleboarding, hunting for seashells, and working out. You can also find me hiding in the pantry eating the "good" snacks, finding random rocks and crushed Goldfish crackers in my pockets, and singing along to Disney soundtracks in the car when the kids aren't even with me.
