What does the process look like?
1. Inquire
Fill out the contact form attached to the button below. Tell me your family, why this family vacat I can't wait to hear! I will get back to you within 72 hours.
2. Let's find the perfect location
Let's have a quick casual call to chat details, or we can cover all over email or text. Whatever is best for you!
3. Book your day
I will send a contract, invoice, and questionnaire. A deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be due seven days before your photo session. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, you will receive my "What to Wear Guide."
4. Gallery
Only SEVEN DAYS—before your beautiful tan starts to fade—you’ll receive your FULL online gallery and the option to order prints.

What if it rains or gets super windy during our session?
Let's talk island weather! Living on a gorgeous rock in the Pacific means we are at the mercy of some unpredictable elements - Mother Nature definitely keeps things interesting.
Rain happens here, but so do the world's best rainbows. If it's just a light sprinkle, we run with it. If it turns into a total tropical downpour - I always have a backup plan ready, and usually, driving just 10 minutes down the road gets us right back into the sunshine! But, of course, if a massive storm hits and even the chickens are hiding under a lanai, we will pivot to a backup plan. Otherwise, lean into the Maui magic—it makes for the best memories!
Afternoon wind is also totally standard here. My secret? Wind doesn't ruin photos; it just makes you look fabulous, breezy, and full of life!
Is a travel fee included in my package?
Travel fees aren't automatically included. Depending on the location you choose to backdrop your family photos, a custom travel fee might be added to your package.

Can we have the unedited or RAW photos? Do we get to choose which ones you edit?
Nope! Sending unedited files is like giving you a bowl of raw cake batter and a cup of flour—sure, the ingredients are there, but the magic happens in the oven! The editing process is literally half of my artistic recipe, and I promise you don't want the half-baked version. I carefully comb through every single shot we took, toss out the ones where your eyes are closed (or your toddler is giving me the side-eye), and pick the absolute cream of the crop. From there, I hand-edit each one to perfection. You get to just sit back, relax, and wait for the fully baked, beautiful masterpiece to hit your inbox!
My kids are wildcards. What if they don't behave during the session?
Let me let you in on a little secret: perfect behavior is boring, and chaos is my specialty! Between photographing hundreds of families and wrangling my own wild children at home, I have a Ph.D. in meltdown management. If your toddler runs away, we turn it into a game. If your kiddo pouts, we capture the cute attitude. I bring pure, unfiltered, goofy mom energy to every shoot, using playful prompts that make kids forget they are even supposed to be posing. Don't stress for a second about them acting "perfect." The messy, giggly, unpredictable moments are exactly where the real magic hides anyway.
I’m stressing about outfits. What should we wear?
The vibe we are shooting for is island comfort. Flowy fabrics that catch the breeze, beautiful neutrals, and zero rigid, matchy-matchy outfits. I’m going to send a comprehensive style breakdown right into your inbox.
Keep in mind, this is a real-life beach day! Plan on being barefoot, and definitely prepare for the kids to get a little sandy and soaked. In my opinion, keeping kids away from the water at the beach is a crime anyway! Let them play, let them get messy, and if they insist on wearing a superhero cape or silly sunglasses, we embrace it. Those are the exact hilarious memories you'll laugh about 20 years from now.
